Traditional vallenato music from Colombia’s fishing and rural farming villages is the backbone of Very Be Careful’s sound. This music is fueled by danceable accordion rhythms, cumbia, and urgent lyrics that speak of love, barroom brawls and salt-of-the-earth heroes. Money Mark brings dual drummers, horns and tweaked synthesizers, along with surprise guests adding to an evening that fuses jazz-funk-rock, trippy pop and classic R&B.
