GP 2024’s Best Of: Social Highs

At Grand Performances, our mission is to provide free access to the arts for everyone, and in 2024, we achieved that in more ways than one.

This year wasn’t just about live performances; we took the energy online, connecting with thousands of people worldwide through our social media platforms. From Instagram to YouTube and TikTok, we expanded our reach, making the arts more accessible than ever—whether you were at our events in person or experiencing them from anywhere in the world.

Our social media buzzed with excitement this year, allowing people across the globe to enjoy our performances and behind-the-scenes content—all for free. Here’s how we brought the arts to your screens:

Instagram: 31K Followers (+24% Growth)
Our Instagram community grew to 31K followers, with a 24% increase! We filled your feed with vibrant clips and community highlights, and performances by artists like Okwy Osadebe became fan favorites.

YouTube: 1.5 Million Views (+63% Growth)
YouTube was on fire this year, with views skyrocketing to 1.5 million—an incredible 63% increase from 2023. Our live streams, from the Max Roach Tribute to dynamic dance performances, brought in 34.8K views alone. People from around the world tuned in, sharing in the excitement and energy of our shows.

TikTok: From 100 to 12K Followers (+12K Growth)
TikTok exploded in 2024, with our followers jumping from 100 to 12K! Viral moments like Okwy Osadebe’s performance hitting 100K views in just three weeks put us on the map. TikTok became the go-to platform for showcasing music, movement, and the fun, behind-the-scenes action from our events.

Facebook: 33K Followers and Still Growing
Facebook continued to unite generations, with 33K followers enjoying our live streams and community events. Highlights like the Celia Cruz Tribute and community initiatives like the Cali Soul Jam sock and underwear drive exemplified the power of music to bring people together for a cause.

Each platform played a vital role in furthering our mission of making the arts freely accessible. Whether you were attending our events live in Los Angeles or joining from halfway around the world, Grand Performances delivered the transformative power of the arts straight to you—without any barriers.

2024 was all about connection—through performance, community, and the digital world. As we look forward to 2025, we’re excited to continue growing, creating, and sharing the arts with even more people. Whether you’ve been following us on Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, or Facebook, the journey is just beginning. Let’s keep dancing, connecting, and going viral together!

Thank you for being part of our community and helping us continue our mission of providing free, accessible arts for everyone.
