Grand Performances and the Levitt Pavilion Los Angeles have come together for a night of international music under the stars. Join us in MacArthur Park on June 28 at 7:00 pm to hear three amazing artists with influences from the Caribbean, Afro-Colombia and much more:
Lido Pimienta
Lido Pimienta is a Toronto-based, Colombian-born interdisciplinary musician whose piercing, explosive and heartwarming voice unites her compositions, beats and harmonies fusing synthpop, electronic, indigenous and Afro-Columbian musical styles.
Delsonido
Founded in Brooklyn circa 2014, Delsonido is the fruit of its two founding members seeking to blend childhood Caribbean musical influences with the melting pot sounds of New York City, resulting in an eclectic fusion of West Indian rhythms, edgy rock guitars, and dance beats accented by urban-punk attitude.
Subsuelo
Subsuelo is a global bass crew based in Los Angeles that experiments with futuristic electronic music and old-school flamenco to create dance-heavy experiences.
The performance is free and for all ages. Please visit Levitt L.A. event page to RSVP.
This performance is made possible in part by the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs (DCA) International Spirit Concert Program.
