State of the State: Solidarity in Action

Sunday, March 26, 2023 @ 2pm (In person at California Plaza & livestreamed starting at 2:30pm at this YouTube link)

>> Free with RSVP via the form below or at bit.ly/SotS2023

California has been a model of multiracial organizing and advocacy for generations – yet the intersectional bonds that were built during the 1960s Farmworkers’ Movement, 1970s Civil Rights Movement, and Los Angeles Uprising in ’92 have frayed over recent decades.

It’s time for us to refresh our commitment to, and understanding of, a multiracial solidarity that’s resilient, celebrates our differences, and clarifies why and how we build power.

We’re kicking off that conversation at this FREE, outdoor, family-friendly event featuring live performances and insightful discussions as we envision the future we can build in solidarity with one another.

Join us to think, inspire, and feel – together – for a more equitable California for all. RSVP for free today (via the form below), and stay tuned for announcements about our performers, speakers, and other special guests!

RSVP here!

If attending in person, parking is available in California Plaza’s structure located at 351 S Olive Street.

This event was made possible with the support of First 5 LA and the Achieving America Family Foundation.
