GP 2024’s Best Of: Members, Partners, Community
As we look back on our 2024 season, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our members and partners—the driving force behind everything we’ve accomplished. Your support has been key in helping us fulfill our mission of offering free, diverse, and accessible arts experiences to the Los Angeles community.
Our Partners
This season, we were proud to partner with organizations that share our vision of creating an inclusive, community-centered space. Clinica Romero brought their mission of affordable healthcare to the forefront during iLe’s show, and CHIRLA (Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights) helped spread the message of unity and support for vulnerable communities at our Cali Soul Jam event.
Chef Jeffrey, a local favorite, made every performance even more special with his delicious creations, like the Puerto Rican tostones that honored iLe’s heritage and the gumbo served during our Dirty Dozen Brass Band New Orleans tribute. These partnerships not only added flavor to our events but also embodied the spirit of community and inclusion we strive to create.
Our Members
Our members were more than just spectators this year—they were active participants in making each event extraordinary. From dancing to the energetic grooves of Soulnic’s house music celebration to supporting the sock and underwear drive during Cali Soul Jam, our members showed up in a big way. Their presence helped foster a sense of unity and belonging at every show.
We also made sure our members felt appreciated with exclusive perks, such as reserved seating at our biggest performances, ensuring they always had the best view of the action. Whether they were swaying to the brass melodies of the Dirty Dozen Brass Band or taking in the ethereal sounds of Laraaji & Arji OceAnanda, our members were right in the heart of it all.

Thanks to your support, 2024 was one of our best seasons yet. As we look forward to 2025, we’re excited to build on this momentum, bringing more unique experiences, partnerships, and community-driven events to the Grand Performances stage. Together, we’ll continue to ensure that the arts remain free, accessible, and inclusive for everyone.
