FREE summer concerts in the heart of Downtown L.A.
This compelling opera imagines famed Spanish poet and playwright Federico García Lorca stepping into and out of his own hauntingly beautiful fictional works. Accompanied by driving rhythms inspired by gypsy flamenco, Lorca experiences the humor, tragedy, and raw passion in his surreal inner world; there, the Moon serves as both muse and redemption, while Death is a constant reminder of our ultimate fate. Libretto by Margarita Galban.
