Grand Performances (GP) highlights Pia Love as the next artist in our TAKEOVER series. Her one-hour set on GP's Facebook and Instagram Live will display the beauty, power and spirituality of dance. Love will channel her inner being to perform a ritualistic piece dedicated to healing and cleansing sure to revitalize audiences.

Pia Love is a professional dancer who tells stories through vibrant costumes and elaborate self-crafted headpieces. Residing in Puerto Rico, she has toured internationally with her band IFE (which means love in Yoruba). She conceptualizes various techniques to coincide with the Rumba percussion soundscape crafted by producer Otura Mun. Often citing her practice as the key to physical and mental wellness, Love deploys dance as a vessel for rejuvenation.
